Job Description

The Parts Assistant is an entry-level role designed to provide critical support to Eagle Aviation’s parts department. This position focuses on stocking, organization, and basic inventory tasks while gaining knowledge of aviation parts and supply chain operations. The Parts Assistant works closely with Administrators and the Supervisor to keep the department running smoothly and is an ideal stepping stone into a career in aviation parts management.

Key Responsibilites
  • Stocking & Organization: Receive, unpack, and stock parts; label and organize inventory shelves.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with preparing shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
  • Administrative Support: Enter basic data into inventory systems; maintain records under Administrator guidance.
  • Customer & Technician Support: Assist in pulling requested parts for mechanics and technicians.
  • Learning & Development: Develop knowledge of aviation parts, systems, and processes to prepare for future advancement.
  • Compliance Support: Follow all safety procedures; assist with handling sensitive materials under supervision.
Job Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, inventory systems training provided).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
  • Must pass background check for handling sensitive materials.
Compliance
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and TSA background screening.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
